SKINCARE: Just Give me all the Face Masks

As it's that time of year where the weather's getting unbearably cold and miserable, I thought I'd bring some light in the form of a skincare necessity for Autumn/ Winter: FACE MASKS!! I love a good face mask, they just make your skin feel so smooth and clean and well, they're just great. The first place I think of when I need a new face mask is of course Lush, their Fresh Face Masks are possibly the best things I've ever put on my face. Annndd I was really good and took five pots in so I got a free one, yess!

Anyway the one I alwaayysss get just because I honestly think it's a miracle worker is Brazened Honey - it's the green coloured one that's packed full of lovely ingredients like lime juice which helps cleanse the skin, almond oil and honey to sooth and ginger to stimulate. As with most face masks you just apply a generous layer and leave it to do its magic for 5-10 minutes. I usually keep it on for a full 10 because I love the smell. The best bit however is washing this one off because it leaves your skin looking visibly brighter and clearer.

Finally I picked up Catastrophe Cosmetic, I really wanted to try something new and when I smelt this one I was sold. It's a slightly off putting blue colour because of all the blueberries but don't let that deter you. I personally can get quite red cheeks, especially when I get out of the shower, they can just flair up and feel quite hot. So I put this on and it was SO soothing. It has chamomile, rose and almond oils which are brilliant for softening the skin. Definitely one to pick up if you have skin that's more on the sensitive side.

So there you go, I'm sure these aren't going to be the only face masks I pick up over the colder seasons but they're a pretty good start!
