NEW IN // All of the skincare

Lately I've been having a bit of a skincare moment, which is a surprise because I was quite happy with my previous routine. However, along came Kiehls with their 20% off event and I just had to pick up a few new items... I'll explain why I also ~had~ to get a Lush moisturiser too....

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream
I had a sample of this a few weeks ago and just loved how well it worked under my make-up. It's not something I think you should use as your only moisturiser as it doesn't contain any oils. However under make-up it's perfect and feels very hydrating. As well as that, it settle's into the skin almost instantly and doesn't feel tacky at all - perfect for those mornings when you're in a rush!

Kiehl's Foaming Face Wash //
My previous cleanser had recently ran out so, as it was 20% off when you buy two products I thought I might as well try out a Kiehl's one. The sales assistant recommended me this and I've got to say, it's not my favourite cleanser ever. It does the job and removes the majority of make-up however, it's absolutely rubbish when it comes to eye make-up. It does leave your skin feeling fresh and clean however I much prefer the Oskia Renaissance cleanser as that removed make-up like a dream!

Lush Celestial Moisturiser //
Another moisturiser?! Because the Kiehl's one doesn't contain any oils, it's not exactly a treat to the skin - if that makes sense, it's amazing under make-up however at night, when your face needs a little TLC you perhaps need something with more caring ingredients. That's were Celestial comes in. This is a really moisturising, moisturiser (i ain't no skincare expert ok :/). It's quite tacky but I'll take that given how soft it makes my skin feel. It smells amazingly like cocoa butter, vanilla and almonds and it just works really well as a night-time moisturiser when your skin just needs a little more attention.

What's your favourite moisturiser?!

  1. Ooh these all sounds good, I really want to try out the Lush one though, lush products are always so good! at the moment my favourite moisturiser is Diprobase - Haha! because I have eczema and really dry skin, but I definitely want to start trying some of the higher end products to see how my skin gets on! These are great recs for me to start with, thanks! :)

  2. kiehls will always be my favourite skincare brand. i literally love every single thing about it, especially their skin oils.

  3. Lush has really fantastic moisturizer, I'm a fan of most of their products though. I have to say that my favorite moisturizer is Dr. Hauschka's Quince Day Cream though. It's really beyond amazing and next-level, especially in the winter!
