New Additions to the Skincare Routine

I know skincare posts can sometimes be a bit dull, but I haven't written one in a while and I really want to just speak about these two gems. Obviously I use a cleanser and a toner, I spoke about them both in this post! But I recently started using a separate cleanser for eye make-up because I read one of those scary 'if you don't clean your make-up off your eyes properly, all you're eyelashes will drop out' stories on Twitter. And well, it did the job and it's scared me into making sure all of my make-up is off my face (especially mascara) when I go to sleep.

Anyway, I've started to use the Clinique Take the Day Off make-up remover for lids, lashes and lips. It's so good, it removes eye make-up really quickly and you really don't need a lot of it. Seriously, a little bit of this product goes a long way, which is good but at the same time it's also quite oily. Because I do have quite oily skin anyway, this can be a bit annoying. But it's also kind of a good thing because it makes my eyes feel more hydrated and smooth. So the oiliness is both a good and a bad thing.

As for the Liz Earle moisturiser, I'm in love. At the moment this is my absolute favourite, ever moisturiser. I think this has really changed my skin, it's made it more 'plump' if that makes sense aha! It's kind of brightened my skin and made it less sunken and dull, like it was a couple of months ago. It also sinks into the skin really quickly and it's not oily or tacky at all. The moisturiser I've got is for Normal/ Combination skin and just works so well under my foundation.

So that's all, have you tried either of these products? What's your favourite moisturiser?
