Getting my Tan on // Bondi Sands

I blummin' love fake tan, sure it can be a right pain in the backside at times. But if you get the right product and exfoliate properly then it should all go to plan. Anyway I was browsing the ASOS beauty section and noticed this Bondi Sands Dark Tanning Foam. It was only £9.99, so I thought I'd give it a whirl...

I started off by scrubbing and exfoliating my whole body, getting rid if any rough patches and old tan. This tan does tend to go on smoother with shaved legs, but just wait half an hour/ hour before you apply it so that the tan doesn't create little dots, which can happen if you've freshly shaved ya legs.

Then I got on with the tanning, I used a mitt and the tan applied really smoothly and had subtle guide lines so you don't miss any patches. After it was all applied, I then just left it for 2 hours. During those couple of hours I did notice that it does transfer easily - so wear dark clothing/ don't sit on your white bed sheets (oops!). After 2 hrs I hopped in the shower and washed the top layer off.

This tanner is great if you want something subtle, the end colour wasn't dark it just kind of gave my skin a bronze-y glow. If you're like me and you like your tan a bit darker, especially on the legs, then either leave it on for a longer period of time or apply two layers.

Other than that, I actually really like this tan. It smells SO good, like coconuts! Hands down the best smelling tan I've ever owned - congrats Bondi Sands! I'd definitely recommend/ re-purchase this tan, it'd also be a good tan to start off with if you're just getting into fake tanning!
