Introducing some new products into my night-time routine...
To be honest, I've never really had a solid/ go-to skincare routine. I'd use and love products for about 2 months (at most) and then get bored and give up because I've never found anything that has really transformed my skin. The only thing that I really love and re-purchase every-time is the Liz Earle cleanse and polish. It's my absolute favourite skin-care product and the only product that I've actually seen make a big difference to my skin. That being said, just using that on it's own hasn't been having the best effect on my skin lately. So I bought these two Garnier cleansers to improve (mainly) my night-time routine...
So firstly I use the Garnier Express 2 in 1 eye make-up remover, to get rid of all that stubborn eye make-up. This is great because it's really caring towards your eye area and doesn't leave it feeling dry and sore from rubbing that make-up off. Instead it just clears it away in a few swipes and your left with clean skin and it also protects your eyelashes. It does feel a tiny bit greasy to begin with however that quickly settles in and disappears. Secondly, I go on to use the Garnier Miceller Water Combination & Sensitive Skin which I absolutely love. It feels so refreshing and cleanses your face of make-up so easily. I haven't noticed a mattifying effect on my skin, which this is supposed to do however it doesn't make my skin look really oily either, so I would say to definitely give this one ago if you have more oily/ combination skin. Altogether both of these Garnier products are great, they're affordable and you get loads of uses out of them, especially the Miceller Water.
After using these I then use my Liz Earle cleanser which I could go on about for years. So if you'd like a review, just let me know! And then I use my Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion+ , which I like but I'm definitely on the hunt for a new moisturiser. The Clinique one isn't bad at all, but I just don't feel like it benefits my skin type, if that makes sense. It does feel a bit greasy and takes a while to settle in, which isn't the best if you already have slightly oily skin.
If you also have combination/ oily (but mainly oily) skin do let me know your favourite moisturiser, cos I'd love some suggestions!
Your skincare routine sounds really good! I also have oily/combination skin and love the Neutrogena pink grapefruit oil-free moisturiser x

I love the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish too, its one of my favourite beauty products ever! When I'm lazy I use it to take my makeup off too and just do it in one step. Great post, I love your blog xx

I have a very simple skincare routine for the day and evening. I am obsessed with toner for the evening. I use Bare Bones Body toner (the main ingredient is Apple Cider Vinegar), and it's cruelty free and natural! I have oily skin and this is the only toner that keeps my skin matte. :)
