Rescuing Dry and Damaged Hair!

This haircare trio will get your damaged hair feeling restored in no-time!...

My hair has always been dry and frizzy and I know I don't help it by constantly using straighteners, but I need the straighteners to tame the frizziness so it just goes in a vicious circle. So a good haircare routine is so important. Recently my hair has been more damaged than ever, I guess because we're having sunnier weather and I currently love curling my hair with straighteners, it just needed some TLC. So I picked up the Tresemme Platinum Strength shampoo and conditioner. These two products are amazing! Seriously, after the first wash it felt like I'd just been to the hairdressers, it felt soft, nourished and nearly all my split ends had disappeared. It didn't make it look greasy like some similar conditioners have done in the past, it just made it feel healthy. Although my hair is kind of getting used to the formula now and the effects aren't as noticeable as when I first washed it with these products. It still feels soft and I definitely feel as though this shampoo and conditioner have strengthened it and protected my hair from damage. I would definitely recommend picking these up and giving them ago if you feel you have similar long, dry hair.

As well as the Tresemme shampoo and conditioner, I've also been really enjoying using the Tony & Guy Reconstruction Mask. This isn't a product you should use every time you wash your hair because it could end up doing more bad than good. However I use this once a week or just when my hair feels especially dehydrated. It works a treat and restores your hair with moisture. I normally apply my normal conditioner all over my hair first and then just use this on the ends of my hair as that's where most of the damage is. It also leaves your hair smelling amazing!

Sorry about the bad photos in this post, shampoo bottles are not the most attractive products to photograph but I really wanted to do this post because these products have really impressed me! Have you used any of these products?

  1. My hair is the exact same - damaged due to heat but I need heat to stop frizz, so annoying! I am in love with the Keratin Smooth range from Tresemme so I will definitely have to try these products out:)

  3. I've actually been hearing a LOT about Tresseme, especially here in Asia, and I really do want to try them out! I've got pretty dry ends because I bleached and dyed them, so they need some hair rescuing pretty urgently haha
